"Really perfect entertainment."

Fade To Grey

A series of bitter sweet

Fade To Grey (Exercise Nutters) by Geoff Saunders

Fade To Grey (Bad Hair Day) by Geoff Saunders

Dear Lovely Castaways - Thank you for a great evening's entertainment at the Winterton Hall yesterday. All three plays were sharply done and your performances in Fade To Grey made me very happy as they were all excellent and the show really worked. Well done - you made me very proud!!!'

Streetcar Named Desire

A short adaptation of Streetcar Named Desire performed in Bob Melrose's house to celebrate his birthday

The moving to different rooms was really fun and having scenes played out in your living room is such a great thing. It was an amazingly immersive experience to be right up close and at the edge of the scene.

Just to say thank you and the whole crew for your performance on Saturday, it was brilliant.

Thanks again for your performances and skill and making a special occasion truly memorable.

Bob Melrose

Comedy Waiters

COMEDY WAITERS - Our actors become waiters for the night but during dinner it becomes obvious
that they are not quite the real thing.

For example:
Bill has just been released from prison and likes a tiple or three; Juan speaks little English which results in many misunderstandings; whilst Gladys Winge a local school dinner lady seconded for the night, tends to treat adults as if they are still at school. Sibella, the Maitre'd,
tries to keep order amongst the ensuing mayhem.

Tilapia by Rosemary Frisino Toohey

After a dinner party an aristocratic couple talk of broken chairs, a smashed piano and a nasty fall into the baked Alaska.
What did it all mean?

And who hasn't held a post-mortem on their dinner party? The sublime duo in Tilapia - superbly understated the devastation that ensued.

Keeping Annabelle by Rachel Welch
Capturing love.

Perfect Stillness by Jane Miller

Tim and Annie are writing an eulogy ... for someone unexpected. A play about small truths and little lies.

Well, you and your fantastic group certainly have impressed the locals, lots of compliments on the three comedies and promises that I will try to get you back again. Thank you all for making such a memorable evening.
With many thanks for a superb performance.

A gangster and his moll escape to the Costa Del Sol.

Another very enjoyable piece of theatre...the evening(s) entertainment was excellent.
Jose Harrison

Ring Ring by Geoff Saunders and Hemail and Shemail by Simon Brett
in the show Love Bytes taken to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010.

Two short comedies about love and miscommunication.

"Both pieces made me laugh aloud and all your performances were assured and relaxed. That sort of comedy relies on very subtle playing and terrific pace and you delivered both in abundance. It was a really perfect entertainment for the evening. Congratulations and thank you!"
Joe Harmston. West End Theatre Director

"... thank you all for providing such a wonderful evening`s entertainment at our Edinburgh Fringe Preview in July. In your two thought provoking and delightful comedies you turned the evening into something special and one which many people still talk about in the village!
The evening raised £4,660 for St Wilfred`s Hospice."
